In the middle of March the European Joint Research Centre (JRC) invited us for the first expert-workshop "Developing EU harmonised waste sorting labels together".
In a series of 3 workshops across 2024 and beginning of 2025, more than 40 experts from different member states are asked to share their experience, insights and considerations on designing a harmonised waste sorting label for the entire EU.
Together with other Scandinavian participants we could contribute with the ongoing harmonisation efforts in Denmark - www.affaldspiktogrammer.dk - as well as share insights on how digital tools can improve and speed up understandable and consistent labelling for products and on containers.
It has been a very informative and well organised kick-off event and we look forward to participate in this ongoing process.
